Importance Of Nutrition In Our Daily Lives
Whenever we take any food or nutritious fluid, our body digests and absorbs simple but essential minerals, vitamins, fats, proteins, carbohydrates, fats and water from these food or nutritious fluids and in this blood flow and energy. Changes that help our body develop and keep it healthy.
Nutritional value is more important to the health of any person. Whenever we take food or fluid it affects both our body and our health. Therefore it is very important that we should have more information about the foods or liquids that we take in our daily life. There is a large number of diseases due to bad food. Certain foods can cause some illness or may change the course of known disorders such as diabetes, heart or kidney disease.
Why is nutrition important to us?
As we know, food and water are essential for building our body and keeping it healthy. Every good food and liquid contain some important nutrition such as protein, carbohydrate, fats, some vitamins, minerals, and water. These all play different roles to keep our body healthy and to create new cells in our body.
These are important nutrition and their role in our body:
Protein:
Protein helps in building our body muscles and a strong immune system. Originally made from long chains of protein amino acids. There are 22 different types of amino acids and our body needs all these amino acids to work properly. Protein is an abundant nutrient in our body that produces new tissues and repairs all damaged cells in our body. It also helps in the formation of hormones and enzymes that play different types of roles in our body such as metabolism and sexual development. There are several types of proteins that play a vital role in our body. For example, collagen is a protein and it gives the strength, elasticity, and structure of our hair and skin. Some good protein sources are pulses, low-fat dairy products, tofu, nuts, seeds, peas, tempeh There are proteins in some common foods like whole grain bread, potato, corn, and pasta. Soya protein is the most essential and strong protein and it is equivalent to the protein of any animal origin.
Carbohydrate:
Carbohydrates give us energy. It is an ideal source of energy for the body because carbohydrates become more easily converted to glucose. It helps our body to supply energy to form a cellular component. Carbohydrate three compounds are made of carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen, which are produced by plants. Four types of carbohydrates are important - sugar, starch, fiber, and gums. If carbohydrate is taken regularly, then it does not cause any weight gain, as long as other food groups. There are two types of carbohydrate - complex and simple. The capacity of carbohydrate can cause the production of ketones in the body, it can be the result of a condition called ketosis. Good examples of carbohydrate are bread, potatoes, pasta, soda, chips, candy/sweets, cookies/biscuits, puddings, cakes, sugar, bananas etc.
Fat:
Fat provides us with additional energy. It is a nutritious element and a special amount of fat is necessary for our body. It does not always make us fat It plays a role in raising our body by protecting us from sudden changes in temperature and protecting our vital organs. Fats contain a broad group of compounds that are soluble in organic solvents and are insoluble in water. Fat provides 9 calories per gram. When dietary fat is digested, fatty acids are produced. It is also important for healthy skin and blood pressure regulation.
Two types of fat are saturated (solid at room temperature) and unsaturated (liquid at room temperature). To obtain sufficient amounts of linoleic acid, one of the few fatty acids in the body can not produce self. Any adult needs a teaspoon of unsaturated fats daily. Saturated fats mainly occur in dairy products such as butter, cream, cheese, and some chocolate. Sources of unsaturated fats are soybean, sunflower and corn oil.
Vitamin:
A vitamin is an organic compound, it regulates the processes of our body and plays an important role in our body to work properly. Vitamin term was derived from 'Vitamine', which is a combination word of Vital and Amine. Today a chemical compound is called vitamin. Our body requires vitamins in the form of substances to grow and develop normally. There are 13 vitamins needed for our body. Some of them are A, B, C, D, E, K, Vitamin B6, and Vitamin B-12. In our daily life, we get all the foods rich in these Vitamins that we take. Our body can also produce Vitamin D and K.
Each vitamin plays specific functions. The lack of a certain low level of vitamin leads to disease. For example, if we do not get enough vitamin D, then it can cause rickets. Vitamin 'A' deficiency can lead to night blindness.
If we eat a balanced diet, then we get enough vitamins that create our daily food or liquid. We also do not need to take any special vitamins separately. In only a few cases we need to take a daily multivitamin for optimal health.
Mineral:
Minerals control the processes of our body and also make body tissues. Minerals Our bodies work properly because Vitamin plays the role but it does not prevent weight loss. Although we get this as our daily food item, we do not have to take it separately. Minerals promote our immune system. Some important minerals are chloride, calcium, copper, chromium, fluoride, iron and iodine. These minerals can be found in our daily food or liquid supplement such as salt, soya sauce, milk, vegetable oils, whole grains, paneer, etc.
Water shapes cells and acts as a medium where the body processes can occur. This is the most important nutrient known for the needs of our body. It is also the most abundant type of liquid found in our body which contributes 70% of our total mass. It helps in dissolving and carrying essential nutrients in all parts of the body. It is also necessary to help in maintaining body temperature and AIDS to remove body waste products.
Water:
In the human body, 70% of the total mass is covered with water. Water shapes cells and acts as a medium where the body processes can occur. It is a very essential nutrient compared to all available nutrients. It is also the most abundant type of liquid found in the human body. Water helps to keep body temperature and AIDS in order to take out the body's waste products.
We see that nutrition plays a very important role in our life, every food and liquid has its nutritional value which is very important in our life. It can help us to increase or decrease our life span, define our degree or livelihood. It also helps in our mental and physical development. We should be aware of food and liquid that we take regularly. In our daily life, pop food leads to a healthy extended life toward a lifetime habit.
